Sign in, account setup, business hours, the first hour on Hesett.

Your first login

How to sign in to Hesett Pro for the first time and what to expect on the home screen.

Before you start

You need the email address and password used when your account was created. If your restaurant has multiple locations, your owner will have linked them to the same login. The dashboard runs in any modern browser โ€” for the best experience, use a laptop or desktop rather than a phone.

Sign in

  1. 01Open the dashboard URL your team gave you and wait for the Hesett logo and "Welcome to Hesett" headline to load.
  2. 02Enter your email in the "Email Address" field and your password in the "Password" field.
  3. 03Tick "Remember me" if you are on a personal device so you do not have to type your password every visit.
  4. 04Click the Sign In button. A spinner replaces the button while we verify your credentials.

What loads first

After sign-in you land on the Dashboard page. The four stat cards at the top โ€” Total Revenue, Total Orders, Average Rating, and Pending Reservations โ€” populate within a few seconds. The left-hand menu shows Dashboard, Menu, Statement, Reservations, Orders, Delivery, and the other sections you have access to.

  • If a card shows $0.0 or a count of 0, that is real data, not a loading state.
  • The language can be changed from the globe icon in the top-right.

If sign-in fails

  • Double-check the email โ€” typos in the domain (.con instead of .com) are the most common cause.
  • If you see a "wrong-password" toast, use Forgot Password? below the Sign In button to reset.
  • If the page just sits on the spinner, your network may be blocking Firebase. Try a different connection or contact your IT.

Reset your password

Send yourself a password-reset email and get back into the dashboard within a few minutes.

When to use this

Use the reset flow if you forgot your password, if a manager left and you want to rotate credentials, or if you suspect unauthorized access. The reset link goes to the email on file, so make sure you can read that inbox before starting.

Send the reset email

  1. 01On the sign-in screen, click "Forgot Password?" โ€” it is the blue link next to the Remember me checkbox.
  2. 02Type the email address tied to your Hesett account.
  3. 03Click the reset button. You will see a "Password Reset Mail Sent" toast at the bottom of the screen.
  4. 04Open your inbox, click the Firebase reset link, and choose a new password of at least 8 characters with one uppercase letter, one number, and one symbol.
  5. 05Return to the sign-in page and log in with the new password.

If the email never arrives

  • Check Spam and Promotions โ€” Firebase reset emails sometimes land there.
  • Confirm you typed the same email used to create the account. The dashboard will silently accept any well-formed address.
  • Wait 5 minutes before requesting a second reset โ€” repeat requests can be rate-limited.
  • If you no longer have access to the email on file, an Admin on your team can update your email from Team Management.

Set your business hours

Tell Hesett when you open and close so reservations, orders, and the customer menu behave correctly.

Why this matters

Business hours drive when the customer-facing menu accepts orders, when reservation slots are offered, and how the "Active" / "Closed" pills appear on your Dashboard. If hours are wrong, customers can place orders for times you are not staffed โ€” or worse, see your restaurant as closed during service.

Open the editor

  1. 01From the home Dashboard, scroll to the Business Hours card on the right column.
  2. 02Click the pencil (edit) icon in the top-right of the card.
  3. 03The "Edit Business Hours" dialog opens with one row per day of the week.

Set hours for each day

  1. 01For days you are open, leave the Closed switch off and tap the time pickers to choose an Open and Close time.
  2. 02For days you are closed, flip the Closed switch on. The row will show a red "Closed" pill.
  3. 03Repeat for all seven days โ€” Monday through Sunday are listed in order.
  4. 04Click Save. The card on the Dashboard refreshes immediately with green pills for open days and red "Closed" pills for the rest.
  • If you close after midnight (for example 02:00), set Close to 02:00 the next morning. The system handles the rollover.
  • Split shifts (lunch + dinner with a break) are not supported in a single row โ€” use your longest open window.

Holidays and one-off changes

Business Hours is your weekly default. For a single holiday closure, edit the Closed switch for that day, then re-open it the morning after. There is no separate holiday calendar โ€” the dialog is the source of truth.

Manage your account profile

Update your name, restaurant address, price level, and personal details from the My Account page.

Where to find it

Click the avatar or "My Account" entry to open the profile page. The header reads "My Account" in the Belmonte font. This page shows your personal details, your restaurant's public profile, and the price level customers see on listings.

What you can change

  • First Name and Last Name โ€” used in receipts and team activity logs.
  • Email Address โ€” changing this updates the sign-in email; you will need to confirm via a verification email.
  • Restaurant Address โ€” feeds your customer-facing booking page and Google listing.
  • Price Level โ€” $ Inexpensive, $$ Moderate, $$$ Expensive, or $$$$ Very Expensive. Customers see this on the booking page.

Change your price level

  1. 01Scroll to the Price Level card on the Dashboard home (or the matching field in My Account).
  2. 02Click the edit icon to open "Edit Price Level".
  3. 03Pick one of the four tiers โ€” the dialog shows examples like "$$ (Moderate)".
  4. 04Confirm. The new tier is live within seconds on your customer pages.

What you cannot change here

Your role (Admin, Manager, Waiter, or Chef) is set by your restaurant's Admin from Team Management โ€” not from My Account. Restaurant Name is also fixed once your claim is approved; contact support if it needs to change.

  • If the Address field will not save, check that the auto-complete actually selected a result rather than leaving raw text in the box.
  • Email changes log you out โ€” sign back in with the new address.
