Adding a dish to your menu
Create a new menu item with price, ingredients, and images using the three-step editor.
Open Menu Management
From the sidebar, open Menu Management. The header reads "Menu Management" with the subtitle "Manage your menu items and categories". Pick a category from the list on the left, then click the blue "Add Item" button on the right.
Step 1 โ Basic Info
- 01Type the dish name in the "Title" field (subtitle: "Enter the name of your menu item").
- 02Add a short description in the "Description" field.
- 03Enter the "Price" โ numbers only, the editor will reject text with "Price should be a number".
- 04Confirm the "Category" shown at the top, or use "Move this item to another category" to reassign it.
Step 2 โ Ingredients & Extras
- 01List ingredients so allergens and customer questions are easy to answer later.
- 02Add the weight and unit (for example 220 g or 33 cl).
- 03Enter calories if you publish them on the customer menu.
Step 3 โ Images
- Tap "Add Image" to upload one or more photos โ the subtitle reads "Update images for your menu item".
- Use bright, top-down shots on a clean surface. Customers see this image on the QR menu.
- Square crops (1:1) render most consistently across phones and tablets.
Save and verify
Press the gradient "Next" button on each step, then save on the final screen. The new dish appears immediately under "$selectedCategory Items" in the menu list. Use "Mark In Stock" / "Out of Stock" on the item card to toggle availability without deleting it.
