Add and rename table QR codes

Create QR codes for new tables and give them friendly labels like Terrace 1 or VIP.

Add codes for new tables

  1. 01Open QR Scans from the sidebar
  2. 02Tap Add QRs in the top toolbar
  3. 03Enter how many tables you want to add โ€” the prompt asks "How many tables do you want to add?"
  4. 04The current count appears below as "Current: X tables"; the maximum is 99 in total
  5. 05Tap Add โ€” you will see a toast such as "Added 4 QR codes"

Rename a table

  1. 01Hover a QR card and tap the Rename pencil
  2. 02Type a label in the field with the placeholder "e.g. Terrace 1, Bar, VIP"
  3. 03Tap Save โ€” the toast "Table renamed" confirms the change
  4. 04To revert to the default "Table 7" style, tap Reset and the toast "Reset to default" appears

Why rename?

  • Friendly names show up on the printed QR card so guests know they are at the right table
  • They also appear in Active Tables and in your Statement, making bill splits easier to trace
  • Mix indoor and outdoor naming (e.g. T1, T2, Terrace 1, Bar 3) โ€” Hesett does not require numeric order

Download and print your QR cards

Grab a single QR or a zip of every table in one tap.

A single table

  1. 01On the QR Scans grid, find the table you want
  2. 02Tap Download under the QR preview
  3. 03A PNG file with the table label is saved to your browser downloads folder
  4. 04Tap Test on the same card to open the customer ordering page in a new tab and confirm the link works

Every table at once

  1. 01Tap Download All in the top toolbar
  2. 02The dashboard zips one image per active table and triggers the download
  3. 03When it finishes you will see the toast "All QR codes downloaded successfully!"

Printing tips

  • Print at 100% scale โ€” shrinking the image below 3 cm makes the QR hard to scan in low light
  • The card already includes the instruction "Scan with phone camera or click to open web" so customers know what to do
  • Laminate or use a clear acrylic stand โ€” kitchen splashes will fade matte paper within weeks

Reading QR scan analytics

Use the Analytics view to find your busiest tables and dead zones.

Open Analytics

On QR Scans, tap the toggle in the header โ€” it flips between QR Codes and Analytics. The Analytics view headline reads "QR Code Analytics" and is followed by three tiles: Total Scans, Active Tables and Avg Scans/Table.

Per-table activity

  1. 01Scroll to the Scan Activity by Table chart
  2. 02Bars are coloured per table; hover for the exact count
  3. 03Switch the table list filter to All Tables, Active Only or Inactive Only to focus the view
  4. 04A table is counted as Active once it records at least one scan in the current period

What to do with the numbers

  • Low Avg Scans/Table usually means the printed card is hidden โ€” try moving the QR onto the table edge
  • A table stuck on Inactive Only week after week is a candidate for retirement or repositioning
  • Spikes in Total Scans on specific days often line up with promotions โ€” cross-check against your Statement to see if scans turned into orders

The Quick Stats sidebar

On the right of the QR grid you will also see a Quick Stats panel with Total Tables, Total Scans and Active Tables. These match the Analytics tiles but stay visible while you work through individual QR cards.
